DEEP EXTRACTION FACIAL USING OUR NEW LINE, L’ÉLIX | ACNE FACIAL

Hi friends! Today I’m excited to share my first-ever video using only our very own medical grade skincare line, L’Élix! I’m going to be describing the products in greater detail than I typically do to teach you a little bit about this line that I love so much. First I’m using the BRIGHTENING ENZYMATIC CLEANSER with steam to clean the surface of the skin. This cleanser is part of our SKIN LIGHTENING line and is gentle enough for daily use. It’s active enough to deliver skin brightening benefits to all skin types. The combination of papaya enzymes and salicylic acid works to slough away dead skin cells. It stimulates the production of new cells and delivers a brighter, clearer complexion for almost any skin type. Next, I’m using the RESURFACING SCRUB. This is a pumice-based scrub used to remove dead cells and debris from the surface of the skin. It aids in reducing fine lines and wrinkles and diminishes the appearance of hyperpigmentation. I like to use a hot towel to remove the scrub. It helps soften the skin more in preparation for the manual extractions. I go over the entire face doing manual extractions. I don’t use any tools, only my fingers wrapped with gauze. I extract any blackheads and pimples as well as any pockets of trapped oil and whiteheads. This is what we, at The Parlour, like to call Frézphère. It’s a ball made with CO2, wrapped in gauze and activated with pure acetone. I use it as a natural antiseptic on the skin after extractions. It is ice cold and so refreshing and calming for the client’s skin. Today I chose to apply the CLARIFYING MINT MASK. It is specially formulated to draw sebum, pollutants, impurities and bacteria out of the skin. It is great for after some deeper extraction because it calms redness, smoothes the look of wrinkles, fights blemishes and hydrates the skin. This is great for all skin types, especially acne-prone skin as it enhances overall clarity for a refreshed complexion. This mask is also greatly appreciated after extractions because it has an immediate icy effect on the skin and feels great. I remove it with a warm towel to help loosen the mask. I am applying the NUTRIENT TONER followed by the C&E + FERULIC which is one of my absolute favorite products. I finish it up with the ULTRALIGHT HYDRATOR and the LIGHT & CLEAR SPF 45. Hi Friends! This week's video features our Signature Facial (a deep cleansing facial) with deep pore extractions using PCA Skin products. The facial begins with a basic cleansing using PCA Skin's Facial Wash Oily/Problem to remove any dirt and environmental impurities from the skin. I then used Dermalogica Daily Microfoliant to gently exfoliate the skin. This is followed by deep pore extractions for removal of blackheads and whiteheads. After the extractions, a CO2 ball (a natural antiseptic) cools the skin and closes pores after extractions. Then, PCA Skin's Hydrate & Revitalize masks are combined for light exfoliation with enzymes and hydration. The skin is further pampered with PCA Skin's Hydrating Serum, which uses a blend of moisture-binding ingredients and antioxidants to increase hydration, leaving skin softer and more plump! After the Dermaplaning, I cleanse the skin with Dermalogica Daily Microexfoliant, a rice-based powder that activates with water. Its unique blend of Phytic Acid from Rice Bran, White Tea and Licorice works to balance uneven skin tone while simultaneously calming skin with Colloidal Oatmeal and Allantoin. This is followed by deep pore extractions for removal of blackheads and whiteheads. After the extractions, a CO2 ball (a natural antiseptic) cools the skin and closes pores after extractions. I then apply our 20-min LED Light Therapy treatment from Celluma in the anti-aging setting (mostly red light). LED light therapy uses wavelengths of light, such as red and blue, to target specific health concerns, including acne and anti-aging. This treatment includes a cleansing and a skin-specific PCA SKIN peel to suit your needs. These self-neutralizing peels allow us to load your skin with corrective serums, a moisturizer and, of course, some sunblock before we send you on your way.

 LED LIGHT THERAPY

Our FDA-approved device is the best on the market for emitting red, blue and infrared wavelengths to target either a wrinkle/anti-aging program, an anti-bacterial setting or an aches & pains setting.

 

These wavelengths work synergistically to enhance the desired outcomes. Red increases micro-circulation, reduces redness and irritation and enhances immune and lymphatic response for better drainage of toxins from the area. Blue causes the C.Acnes bacteria to destroy itself. The first 2 settings combine both red and blue lights.

 

The third near-infrared dominant setting penetrates the deepest and treats all pain, joint and muscle issues.
