Before Your Appointment

Schedule Your Appointment: To schedule, you can book online or call/text us at (305) 505-1232. You'll be emailed forms to complete prior to your appointment to ensure there are no contraindications to the treatment.

Pre-Treatment Instructions: Avoid sun exposure, tanning beds, and self-tanning products for at least two weeks before your appointment. Shave the treatment area the day of the appointment (this is ideal) or at least 24 hours prior, but do not wax or pluck the hair.

Skin Care: Avoid using products with strong chemicals or exfoliants on the treatment area in the days leading up to your appointment. For laser hair removal areas on the face, avoid retinols 7-10 days prior to your appointment.

Topical Anesthetic: Though not necessary, for clients who wish to numb for their appointment, please read our blog post on numbing here.

During Your Session

Preparation: Upon arrival, your technician will cleanse the treatment area.

Laser Application: You'll be provided with protective eyewear, and the technician will use a handheld laser device to target and treat hair follicles. The sensation is often described as a mild pinching or snapping feeling.

Cooling and Comfort: Our advanced laser systems feature cooling mechanisms to minimize discomfort and protect the skin throughout the procedure. Once the treatment is finished, your technician will apply hydrocortisone to the treated areas, as well as SPF to any exposed areas.

After Your Appointment

Immediate Aftercare: Redness and swelling are common but should subside within a few hours. Apply a soothing gel or aloe vera to the treated area if needed.

Avoid Sun Exposure: Protect treated areas from the sun and avoid tanning for at least two weeks. Use broad-spectrum sunscreen if you need to be outdoors.

Follow-Up Appointments: Multiple sessions are typically required for optimal results. Your technician will advise on the recommended number of treatments and schedule follow-up appointments accordingly.
